Kadimah Nursing Home
Kadimah Nursing Home is for our high care residents and has 21 beds in total with 7 secure dementia beds. Our high care facilities are for older people who are dependent on ongoing professional nursing and assistance with personal care. We provide 24-hour aged care nursing as well as other services to support which include cooking, cleaning and washing for the elderly who’s needs cannot be met in the low care facilities.
Vital Call
Kadimah residents have the use of hand held buzzers. A unit is also fitted to all bathrooms for emergency use. At 8.30 p.m. the vital call response unit is handed over to night staff on duty at Kadimah.
Activities
Residents are encouraged to contribute to the activities programme to ensure that suitable activities are pursued. A calendar of events is posted on the board in the main lounge room in Kadimah.
Medication
Kadimah Nursing Home utilises the Webster Pack System for administering Medications. All Care Staff administering medications are trained and have the appropriate competencies. The Registered Nurse will liaise with the Doctor for scripts and ordering of medications.
