Killarney Memorial Aged Care is a small and family friendly employer. Our roles range from administration, HR and finance, through to care roles such as allied health professionals, nurses and personal carers, hospitality housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and gardening. We pay according to designated award conditions, and are regularly seeking new employees in the areas of clinical services, support services and administration. 

Who are we looking for?

We encourage anyone to contact us if they looking for work as sometimes when a fantastic person comes to town we will be able to use their skills regardless of whether or not we have a position advertised that they would work in.

  • Head Chef – We’re seeking an innovative and passionate head chef to revolutionise our kitchen and help our team create simple food from fresh local ingredients that looks, smells and tastes great. They must be collaborative, enthusiastic, willing, and able to work with our residents and existing team. Our vision is to find someone seeking a tree change and a really rewarding career change who has a fervent passion for food, a deep understanding of nutrition, and a commitment to using local ingredients. Their expertise would uplift the dining experience for our residents, Meals on Wheels clients, staff, and visitors. Ideally, they would also be able to cater for fundraising and other events and play an instrumental role in community education about the importance of nutrition and wholesome eating through hands-on events.

  • Registered Nurses – We are always looking for Registered Nurses (RN) with a passion for caring for the clinical needs of our residents. We’re looking for people who understand the value of relationships and who will provide continuity of care that really makes a difference to our residents’ quality of life. 

  • Personal Carers for Residential & Community Care – Work as part of our team of empathetic and caring clinical professionals. You will make a positive impact on the life of our residents with your compassionate, supportive approach that empowers our residents’ choices and independence. Minimum of a Cert III in an Aged Care qualification is essential with Cert IV highly regarded. We also have openings for Personal Care Trainees. Offering traineeships for school aged persons who have a desire to start their career within the health industry.
