LYNDALL McCORMACK B.Occ Thy (U.Q.), MBA (U.Q), GAICD
Lyndall McCormack lives in Killarney and joined the Board in 2008 and has been the Chairman since 2011. She is a qualified Occupational Therapist who has worked in community health and public health campaigning. Lyndall has served on the Board of Warwick Shire Tourism, and in 2011 graduated from the Australian Institute of Company Director Course.
Colleen Lindores has extensive experience in management and business operations via her family building services companies. Colleen has been on the board of Lindores Cranes & Rigging for 15 years. She has undertaken directorship training with Australian Institute of Management and KPMG. Colleen was a registered nurse at the Mater Hospital before working in the family business and has been on the Board since 2008.
Colin Bloomfield is a long term Killarney resident, and has worked as an Accountant in several businesses within Killarney and Warwick. He has been involved with many community organisations during the past 40 years with a large involvement in the planning and construction of Killarney Recreation Club, also serving many executive positions on State and National sporting organisations. He is currently the National Treasurer for Polocrosse Australia. Colin has been a Director on the Board of Killarney Memorial Aged Care Ltd for over 30 years overseeing many developments during this time.
Lindy completed General Nursing & Midwifery at Royal North Shore Sydney. Employed as a RN (Registered Nurse) with QML and at RBWH Hospital, as RN in dialysis and pathology. Lindy has been involved with the Medical & Health Industry in direct health care and administration for over 20 years, and joined the Board to fill a casual vacancy in January, 2015.
Mr Brad Beck is a Director of Clearview Financial Solutions, a home lending and financial services company based in Warwick. Brad is a member of the Warwick Chamber of Commerce, and a former Branch Manager with Commonwealth Bank.
Janette has worked at KMAC for 20 years in various roles. She has extensive training and expertise in Food Safety, Workplace Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Workplace Rehabilitation, procedural documentation for the Aged Care industry and is a Justice of the Peace (Qualified).
Food Services Supervisor
Kelly has over 8 years’ experience within the food industry and experience in administration procedures. As a dedicated Food Services Supervisor, Kelly and her team strongly believe in providing healthy and nutritional meals to the elderly. She encourages residents to be actively involved in menu selection and planning and has ample experience catering for functions and last minute requests.
Laundry & Housekeeping Supervisor
Joann brings a high standard of cleaning and laundry services to KMAC and has been involved within the commercial and domestic cleaning industry for over 11 years based in Queensland. Joann is very focussed on meeting resident’s requirements with laundry and housekeeping duties. She thoroughly enjoys working within Aged Care and finds it both enjoyable and fulfilling.
Community Care Services Manager
Sue Hoopman (Community Care Services Manager) has worked in Community Aged & Disability Care throughout the Darling Downs region for 32 years as a Registered Nurse and Multi Services Manager. Sue has university qualifications in Nursing and Health Services Management and a Certificate IV in Disability Work (TAFE), Education (Cert IV TAE) and Auditing (Pricewaterhouse Coopers). Sue is passionate about elderly people and people with disabilities having the right to remain living safely at home for as long as they can, and has vast experience in the supports available for them to remain independent and in control of their lives.
